Haggard AKA Tell-Tale ref 2012

Anyway. Ref time �/

Species: Coyote (Melanistic phase)

Haggard is a coyote with the ability to see images in campfire smoke. These could be images of the past, images of the future, prophetic images or sometimes just (seemingly) irrelevant guff. He hangs around his fire, staring into the flames, looking for meaning. He is a talented storyteller, and young animals of the prairie often stumble across his fire late at night, where he offers them safety (predators and other threats all seem to avoid his fires) while he tells them stories of adventure and fantasy. Because of this, he is often called "Mr. Tale-Teller" or just "Tell Tale" among young ones, who pass stories around about visiting this peculiar, friendly character. Funnily enough, adults seem unable to see him and are mostly unaware of his presence, even those who met him in their own childhoods. He doesn't seem to ever age or need to eat, so it is unsure whether he is a ghost, a spirit, or maybe something else.

Other: He often uses the pronghorn bone to poke at the fire or draw pictures in the dirt. Also tends to slur his words a bit, but this fades off when he tells his stories.
