Wow okay I am really proud of this that fire was so fun to paint and Haggard is my baby <3
I've always imagined that even though he is a friendly fellow, he could be really menacing if he wanted to be. Kind of like fire itself- it's warmth can save lives but can destroy them just as easily.

ImpactThere's really not much I can see wrong with this, taking into account that I can't draw at this level of skill yet.
The fire is very bright and people may be drawn to that first, but you've made the eyes nice and reflective which counters that.
I also love how you did the fire, and how it swirls around.
The character is lovely and the anatomy is almost spot-on. The only thing that doesn't seem to fit is the nose - everything else looks painted and has some texture, but the nose is just smooth and stands out too much.
